JUNIORS 2011

There is currently no junior curling program planned for October, 2011.  Last year there were not enough juniors who were interested to form a league.   BUT we are forever hopeful!!  So, if any juniors are interested in a curling program this year, please phone Dave Gartrell at 250-494-9245. 

Information from two years ago is shown below, so that you can see an outline of the program that we used previously.

First day of curling for the season is coming up on October 21, Wednesday, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Wear loose clothing and bring a pair of CLEAN runners.

Fees: 

    For the whole season (October - March) $25.00

    For 3 months (October - December  or  January - March) $15.00

 

Juniors (age 11 to 18) meet every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.   Most of the juniors are new to the sport, but are keen and are improving each week.  We plan to start a small league. Cost is minimal and brooms and sliders are available from the club free of charge for use on Wednesday afternoons. Helping Dave Gartrell coach the juniors are Linda  and Bill Brussee and Lionel Coleman.
