Interior Men's Championship News.  January 1, 2008

The Interior Men's Championship is being held in Summerland starting January 17th with the opening ceremonies at 6:30 pm and going until the finals on Sunday January 20th. For the opening ceremonies curlers will be lead by a Scottish bagpiper from Penticton.

Sixteen teams will be competing from as far away as the north region, to Golden, the Kootenay's and the Okanagan.

Four of these teams will qualify to play in Penticton for the provincials Feb. 4-10 with the winning team representing B.C. at the Brier in Winnipeg, March 8th.

Tickets $5.00 a game, $10.00 per day or $25.00 for the week. Tickets will be available at the door. 1 draw on Thursday, 4 draws on Friday, 4 draws on Saturday, and the finals on Sunday (3 draws).
